For the Love of Food
Cincinnati native Lucia Perez, has been in the kitchen her whole life. Growing up in a large Mexican family, Lucia was always cooking, and learning from her family about the art and love of Mexican cuisine.
After receiving her degree from the University of Cincinnati in business Lucia moved away from her family to start a new job. After working for 3 years and saving up, Lucia felt burnt out. She did not find herself passionate about her work anymore. The one thing that excited Lucia was the dream of opening up her own food truck.
Lucia visited her grandmother and talked about helping her found Queen City Cantina. With her grandmother's help, Lucia learned all of her family's secret recipes, and decided to sell the food she grew up with and loved so much at her very own business.
Today, Queen City Cantina has 3 locations throughout the greater Cincinnati area. The truck serves over 35 menu items, made with love and care from Lucia's family table to yours!
